A Diner en Blanc guide for first-timers!


So you've heard about the all-white dinner phenomenon that has been sweeping the globe and this year, it's in YOUR city! Now what?

Zagreb's very first Diner en Blanc is almost sold out, so we're providing you with a few tips to help you secure your ticket and table on time.

Step One:

Register! Once you've received the invitation sent to your email, head to the official registration site using the code in your invitation. Read your email very carefully! There is a lot of important information in there.

Step Two:

Select your departure location. There will be four departure points where picnic-goers will gather on May 20th and head to the secret location. The four departure points in Zagreb are:

  1. Trg Ban Jelacic

  2. Zagrebacki Velesajam

  3. Crnomerec

  4. Super Konzum Radnicka


Step Three:

Rent or purchase your table and chairs. OR you can bring them from home!
*Your table does not have to be white, as long as you have a WHITE TABLECLOTH to cover it.

Step Four:

Fill up your shopping cart! At our e-store, we have all of your picnic needs ready for ordering. Here, you'll want to stock up on food and beverages.

Drinks
Remember that no alcohol or water will be available for purchase on the evening of the event. You MUST purchase all of your beverages from the e-store (they will be ready for pick-up at the secret location). Jana, Jamnica, Piper Champagne and Saints Hills Wines are all available on the e-store and MUST be purchased PRIOR to the event.

Food
Five of Zagreb's top restaurants have even prepared picnic baskets for those that wish to purchase. Okrugljak, Spoon, Basta, Baltazar and Dubravkin Put have cooked up some delicious dinners for the event. If you wish to bring your own food, you can! Unlike beverages, picnic baskets do not have to be purchased through the e-store.

Step Five:

You're ready to go! Now all you have to do is pick out your white outfit. See you May 20th at Diner en Blanc Zagreb!
(Don't forget to bring your receipt from the e-store as your proof of purchase.)
